Loan Repayment Calculator

What would the repayments be?

Loan amount, rate and term in. Repayments out, weekly, fortnightly or monthly, along with what the loan costs you in total across its life. Useful for testing what a different term, or a small change in rate, actually does to the number.

Change one input at a time and you will see very quickly what carries the most weight.

Estimate only. This calculator is a guide. It is not a quote, a pre approval or a credit offer, and it does not take your objectives, financial situation or needs into account. Real figures depend on the lender, the product, the fees, the loan to value ratio and a full assessment of your circumstances.

The rate used here is the one you type in. Nothing on this site quotes or offers a rate, and the figures shown are not a comparison rate. Real repayments also depend on any offset or redraw arrangement, whether the loan is interest only for a period, and the ongoing fees attached to the product.

Worth knowing

Reading the result properly

What it works from

The loan amount, the rate you enter, the term, and how often you want to repay. Nothing else, which is why it is the quickest of the five to run.

Try fortnightly

Paying half the monthly amount every fortnight puts through the equivalent of thirteen monthly payments a year instead of twelve. Over a full term the difference is not small.

What it is not

A repayment figure is not an assessment. It tells you what a loan of that size would cost, not whether a lender would give it to you. The borrowing capacity calculator covers that.
